Airman Killed By Mob In Oshodi. Many Stranded As Soldiers ‘Take Over’

Residents of Oshodi area of Lagos have been thrown into panic following chaotic scenes involving soldiers.

Videos posted on social media show soldiers vandalising commercial vehicles on Thursday morning.

Residents heading to work were trapped in the ensuing violence while students have fled back home.

Although the cause of the crisis is yet to be ascertained, some claimed that a military officer was killed in the area.

Lagos police spokesman Muyiwa Adejobi said he was awaiting report on the incident from the divisional police officer in charge of Oshodi Command.
