Gunmen have abducted Pastor Otamayomi Ogedengbe of Deeper Life Bible Church located at Irese Community in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State.
A church member who identified himself simply as Paul told the news media that the abductors stormed the church on Monday night and took the pastor away.
“The pastor was kidnapped inside the church. They (kidnappers) came with a black Corolla sport car. He was kidnapped alone,” he said on Tuesday.
Ondo police spokesman Tee-Leo Ikoro said the police are investigating the incident.
“We are on their (hoodlums) trail and investigation had commenced into the matter,” he said.
