Singer and disc jockey DJ Cuppy has replied a troll who suggested she was quitting music for a while after gaining admission to Oxford University, United Kingdom, Igbere TV reports.
The ‘Gelato’ singer recently announced her admission to study for a master’s degree programme at Oxford University, leaving many of her fans wondering what will become of her music career.
A fan simply named Ferdy took to Twitter to congratulate her on her admission, adding his joy at Cuppy taking a break from music for at least two years.
“Congrats to DJ Cuppy for making it into Oxford University. At least we get a break from her music for 2yrs….and hopefully, she come out and go get a job,” Ferdy wrote.
DJ Cuppy replied: “Well, here’s some BAD NEWS bro- I ain’t going NOWHERE! More music coming. I’ll even record from dorm room in Oxford lol.”
This will be Cuppy’s second master’s degree as she already has one in music business from New York University in 2015.
