Senator Dino Melaye has denied planning to wed a woman simply identified as Susu on Boxing Day.
The former Kogi lawmaker shared a picture of the purported wedding invitation on social media and described it as “419” a local term for fraud.
According to the wedding IV, they are scheduled to wed at a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Lagos, with music to come from a so-called “King Wasiu Ayinde Dino and his band”.
“419 taken too far. General Public i dont know this person talkless of marriage. Even for film it can’t happen. SDM is not available ooo,” Melaye wrote on Friday across social media platforms.
Dino Melaye has several children but is not publicly known to have a wife.
