Musician Seun Kuti has celebrated his daughter Adara Anikulapo Kuti on her seventh birthday.
The 37-year-old shared a picture of himself and daughter in an Instagram post on Monday.
He said she has brought him a lot of joy and understanding.
“Happy 7th birthday Adara Anikulapo Kuti! Since I met you, you have brought me plenty of joy and understanding.
“You have made me brave, given me focus and the drive to embrace my calling. I am happy to have you in my life, like a compass and also my validation,” he wrote.
Adara commented on her dads post saying she loves him.
“Thank you daddy,I love ❤️ you,” she wrote.
Yetunde who is Adara’s mom also shared her picture on Instagram.
“Seven years today you came into our life. Watching you grow has been nothing but joy and happiness. I will forever love you my darling daughter. Have an amazing 7,” she wrote.
Seun and Yetunde have been together for 15 years.
