American woman Janine Sanchez and her Kano lover Isa Suleiman on Sunday wedded at Barracks Mosque in Panshekara, Kano State.
The couple had postponed their wedding initially scheduled for March over the United States’ visa restrictions on Nigerians.
The lovebirds’ wedding was witnessed by many Nigerians including Senator Shehu Sani.
Sanchez, 46, who lives in California, USA, met Suleiman, 23, on Instagram in 2019, exchanged pictures and began courting online.
In January, she visited Panshekara where Suleiman lives with his family.
She said many people had courted her online but she found the Nigerian as the most loving and sincere.
Sanchez had also said they would return together to the United States where they intend to start a family after getting married.
