Rukpokwu community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State has been thrown into chaos following the alleged killing of a tricyclist popularly called School Boy by a policeman.
It was gathered that the policeman allegedly fired the fatal shot around 6 am on Thursday and immediately escaped mob attack.
Angry youths in the area evacuated the corpse of the victim and dumped it at the Rumuokoro police division, forcing the police to fire shots to disperse them.
Several youths have been reported injured in the violent protest.
