Commercial motorcyclists locally known as okada riders clashed with commercial bus drivers alias danfo drivers on Monday clashed in Mile 2 area of Lagos.
It was gathered that an Okada rider was allegedly stabbed to death by a danfo driver, resulting in the clash.
An eyewitness said okada riders chased the drivers with stones.
An official of the Northern Okada Riders Association in the area simply identified as Mohammed told Vanguard that the danfo driver who allegedly stabbed the motorcyclist has been arrested.
“We are here to calm our people (okada riders) down so as to guide against further violence because if things are not brought under control, many innocent lives would be lost in the process,” he added.
