Bashir El-Rufai, son of Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, got married to Halima Kazaure on Saturday.
Present at the ceremony were former Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II and Senate President Ahmad Lawan.
Governors Badaru Abubakar and Mai Mala Buni of Jigawa and Yobe states respectively were also present.
The wedding was held at ministers’ quarters, Mabushi in Abuja.
Bashir’s wife is half Hausa and half Igbo.
Her father is from Kazaure in Jigawa State.
