Armed men on Thursday disrupted a protest against police brutality in Alausa, Lagos.
A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
The men carried cutlasses and other weapons as they chased the #EndSARS protesters away.
It was gathered that one of the protesters was injured.
The incident comes barely 24 hours after #EndSARS protesters in Abuja were attacked by hoodlums.
The #EndSARS protests have persisted despite the government yielding to the protesters’ demand to scrap the deadly Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
The protesters say they also want the proposed replacement for SARS – Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team – scrapped.
