#EndSWAT: Don’t Get Distracted, Eyes On The Ball, Aisha Yesufu Tells Protesters

Co-convener of Bring Back Our Girls movement (BBOG) Aisha Yesufu has knocked people who claim the #EndSARS protest has been monetised.

Mrs Yesufu who has been part of the #EndSARS protests in Abuja stated this on Wednesday in a video shared on Twitter.

“I see there are a lot of people who have not been part of this protest as you would expect and the next thing they’re trying to discredit it by talking about the protest being monetised,” she said.

“If anybody collects money for protest, drive the person out. Let those who didn’t collect do their thing. If yours is monetised, another person’s isn’t monetised.”

Her statement followed rumour that high-profile individuals held a Zoom meeting with some persons who claim to be leaders of the #EndSARS campaign.

The meeting is perceived to have caused cracks in the ranks of the so-called leaders.

Yesufu, however, urged the Nigerian youths to remain focus on the aim of the protest.
