The Federal Government has announced plan to set up a new Anti-Robbery squad to replace the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV reports that this is coming following the dissolution of the controversial unit of the Nigeria Police Force.
Police spokesman Frank Mba said in a statement on Sunday that the squad will cease to operate across the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory.
