A court in Bayelsa has ordered the recall of the DSS Investigation officer, Frank Udo and the Kogi State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo to appear in the next sitting, Igbere TV reports.
According to Justice Awogboro Abimbola Olawunmi of Federal High Court 2, their appearance is necessary for further cross-examination in the ongoing trial of the Bayelsa News Blogger.
Igbere TV reports that the order is sequel to the an application filed by the Defence counsel to Saint Mienpamo, Benjamin S. Ogbara Esq. for recall of the witnesses pursuant to section 219 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015, section 36(6)(b) of the 1999 constitution as amended and the Supreme Court case of Adisa v. Attorney General Western Nigeria.

It would be recalled that only two witnesses, DSS officer and the Kogi Commissioner of Information had earlier testified against the Bayelsa Born popular Blogger, Saint Mienpamo Onitsha.
The Blogger is the owner of popular online tabloid, Naija Live Tv.
Also an amendment of the charge against the Bayelsa News Blogger by the prosecution counsel, Victor Uchendu Esq was made in court.
The presiding judge, Justice Awogboro Abimbola Olawunmi consequently ordered that those two prosecution witnesses for DSS be recalled for further cross-examination.
Meanwhile, defense counsel to Saint Mienpamo, Benjamin S. Ogbara Esq. called their last witness immediately the case was call up in continuation of trial and subsequently closed its defense.
Justice Awogboro Abimbola Olawunmi however adjourned the case till is 22nd of October 2020.
