Nigerians on social media have rejected a Google search result that listed Agbani Darego as the ugliest Miss World in history.
Darego, 37, was crowned Miss World in 2001 at a ceremony held in South Africa.
She is the first indigenous African to win the title.
The Rivers State indigene had earlier won the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) pageant and made it to the top 10 of Miss Universe.
On Friday, Twitter user @oluremi_x posted a Google search result that showed Darego as ugliest-ever Miss World.
Expectedly, that did not go down well with Nigerians, who quickly rejected the tag.
Some Twitter users, however, pointed out that Google does not have a list of ugliest Miss World.
Darego’s name, they explained, popped up in @oluremi_x’s search because of location.
