Minister Marries Chief Of Air Staff A Year After 'Buhari Wedding' Saga

Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Sadiya Farouq has reportedly wedded the Chief of Air Staff (COAS) Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar

Farouq was rumoured in October 2019 to be getting set to become President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife. The minister and the Presidency debunked the rumour.

Igbere TV, however, learnt that sources confirmed that Farouq’s wedding to the COAS happened on September 18 at the Maitama Juma’a Mosque in Abuja.

“It is true that the chief of air staff and the humanitarian affairs minister have gotten married,” a source was quoted saying.

The source further said very few people were invited for the wedding fatiha as the couple chose to make it a low-key ceremony.
