Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode says US President Donald Trump will defeat the presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden in the crunch November general elections.
Mr Fani-Kayode stated this on Tuesday on the heels of the announcement of California senator Kamala Harris as Mr Biden’s running mate.
The former minister said Mr Trump and Vice President Mike Pence who are seeking re-election will defeat Biden and Ms Harris.
“Donald Trump and Mike Pence shall beat Joe Biden and Kamala Harris hands down. Mark it,” he confidently said.
Ms Harris becomes the first black woman on a major party ticket.
The 55-year-old had run for the presidency but opted out in December before the first Democratic contest in Iowa in early 2020.
During debates, the California senator often placed Biden in the line of attack.
Former US President Barack Obama and former Democratic presidential candidate Hilary Clinton have both welcomed Biden’s choice.
