Abia School Teachers Beseige COVID-19 Sample Collection Centers To Test For COVID-19 (Photos)

IgbereTV reports that Abia State primary and secondary school teachers have besieged COVID-19 sample collection centers across the state to test for COVID-19, following the state government’s announcement that primary and secondary schools in the state will resume academic activities on Monday August 10, 2020.

IgbereTV recalls that the Abia State Government announced that the State Ministry of Health, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, will on 4th August, 2020 commence sample collection and testing for COVID-19 of all head teachers, teachers and all those expected to be part of the management of the relevant examinations in the state’s public and private schools, stating that only those who test negative to the virus will be expected to continue attending classes or interacting with students and others involved in the management of the examinations.
