A gas explosion on Sunday at Golden Estate in Ijebu-Ode area of Ogun State has killed one person, police have said.
Ogun police spokesperson Abimbola Oyeyemi confirming the incident said the corpse has been taken to the state general hospital morgue in Ijebu-Ode.
“The explosion affected one person who died immediately while others scampered for safety,” Oyeyemi said.
