304 new cases of the coronavirus disease have been confirmed in Nigeria.
This brings the total infections in the country to 43,841.
There are now 20,308 discharged patients and a total 888 deaths.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control announced the new figures late on Sunday on their Twitter Handle, @NCDCgov.
Fifteen states recorded new infections on Sunday, with Lagos state having 81 new cases, followed by the FCT with 39, Abia 31, Kaduna 24, Rivers-23, Plateau-16, Cross River-13, Ebonyi-12, Ondo-12, Ekiti-11, Edo-11, Benue-10, Nasarawa-10, Ogun-6, and Gombe-5.
Lately, there have been a downward slope in the recorded number of new infections, with some states not appearing on the chat occasionally.
