Saraki Pays Tribute To ex-APC National Vice Chairman, Inuwa Abdulkadir

Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has paid tributes to the late former National Vice-Chairman (North-West) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Inuwa Abdulkadir.

The APC chieftain, aged 54, died on Monday at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital.

Saraki, in a Twitter thread, said Abdulkadir was decent in his politics, adding that they both maintained good relationship despite being in different political parties.

“I received with shock and sadness the news of the death of Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir, the Magatakarda Babaa of Sokoto. Inuwa was a brother, friend, associate and a man who brought decency into his politics,” wrote Saraki.

“Though, we were no longer in the same party, we maintained a good relationship and he will be sorely missed. I commiserate with his immediate family, the people and government of Sokoto State, particularly Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, on his demise.

“May Almighty Allah forgive his sins and grant him a place in Aljannah firdaus.”

Buried in Sokoto, Abdulkadir was a former minister of youth and sports development during the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.

He was until his death, the chairman and pro-chancellor of Sokoto State University, leaving behind two wives and 10 children.
