Seyi Tinubu, son of former Lagos governor, Bola Tinubu, has welcomed a baby boy with his wife, Layal, in a hospital in London, UK.
The proud father released a statement on Instagram on Thursday announcing the good news.
The statement signed by Khadijah Ibrahim said the mother and child are doing ‘incredibly well’ and that Seyi witnessed the birth of the child.
“On behalf of Mr and Mrs Tinubu, I am please to announce the birth of a boy by his wife @layaltinubu earlier today,” the caption on the Instagram post read.
The statement, however, said further announcements would be made in the coming days.
Seyi, a media practitioner but lawyer by study, got married in 2015. The 34-year-old has a daughter, Noella, whom he named his foundation after.
Seyi and Layal’s traditional wedding which held in Nigeria had the nation’s who’s who in attendance. The white wedding was held in Picturesque Villa Erba, Lake Como, Italy.
