Eleven almajiris who were repatriated from Kaduna state to Sokoto state on June 4 have tested positive for COVID-19.
This was contained in a statement released from the state Ministry of Health.
According to the statement, 33 of the Almajiris were sent back to the state from Kaduna and were immediately isolated at the state NYSC orientation camp, Wamakko.
The samples of all the 33 almajiris were collected on arrival for testing.
Unfortunately, 11 out of 33 samples collected tested positive for the novel Coronavirus and are now been treated.
