Bauchi State Government has announced the recovery and discharge of nine coronavirus (COVID-19) patients.
Governor Bala Mohammed announced the discharge on Twitter on Friday.
“Today, we discharged nine formerly #COVID19 patients to return home. This brings the total of our successfully managed and recovered cases to 40,” he wrote.
“Our ever-consistent gratitude is to Allah, also our medical personnel, the State Task Force on #COVID19, our local government committees and security personnel for their steadfastness in managing the cases or ensuring that the lockdown and other preventive measures are enforced.”
Mohammed called on the public to continue adhering to laid-down guidelines on hygiene and other measures initiated by the government to mitigate the spread of the novel coronavirus.
