Elegushi of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Elegushi, Kusenla III, has celebrated his first wedding anniversary with second wife, Hadiza Tanko.
The queen is the younger sister of the Special Adviser to the Kano State Governor, Salihu Tanko.
In celebration, Oba Elegushi wrote on Instagram on Sunday that the past year has been “very amazing because I’ve been married to an amazing and loving woman.”
“Truly, time flies when you are having fun that must be why the last year has flown by so fast. We’ve been married for 365 days, and I’ve loved every second of it. Thank you for adding colour to my world. Happy Anniversary to us. Our best years still lies ahead,” the monarch wrote.
Before he picked his second wife on May 3, 2019, Oba Elegushi had been married to Olori Sekinat Aramide for 16 years with three daughters as the products of their union.
The highly-respected monarch celebrated his 10th coronation anniversary on April 27.
