American media personality, Oprah Winfrey, has denied being arrested on sex trafficking charges.
The 66-year-old debunked the rumours on Twitter on Wednesday, explaining that she was instead, self-distancing as a precaution against the coronavirus.
The former talk show host tweeted: “…Haven’t been raided or arrested. Just sanitizing and self-distancing with the rest of the world. Stay safe everybody.”
There were reports on Tuesday that Oprah had been arrested at her home in Boca Raton, Florida in the United States and detained on sex trafficking charges.
