Tragedy struck in Lagos community as fire razed Amu market in the early hours of Saturday, January 25.
Igbere TV learnt that shops and goods worth millions have been destroyed by the midnight fire while a mosque close to the market is not yet affected.
The commercial timber market is located at the Mushin area of Lagos state.
Although the Lagos fire fighters came late and most of the shops and goods were already razed but the fire fighters have arrived as at the time of reportage and efforts are made to quench the fire.
As at the time of filing this report, the cause of fire is unknown.
