Fire outbreak at Port Harcourt international Airport, Omagwa, Rivers state on Saturday evening caused a disruption in flight activities, Igbere TV reports.
According to report gathered by Igbere TV, the fire outbreak which occurred on the runway prevented a Max Air flight from taking off while an Arik flight had to return to base.
A Dana flight from Abuja to Port Harcourt also reportedly had to return back to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, as it could not land due to the fire.
However, at the time of filing this report, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria had not reacted to the incident.
