Shu’aibu Haruna, the Deputy Speaker of Gombe State House of Assembly has been impeached.
The impeachment process against the lawmaker representing Kwami East constituency was commenced following a motion moved by Adamu Pata, the lawmaker representing Yamaltu East, which was seconded by the lawmaker representing Billiri west Tulfugut Kardi.
Haruna has been replaced with Siddi Buba of Kwame West after he was successfully impeached by the house of assembly members who passed a ‘vote of no confidence’ against him.
