One person has been killed while several injured in multiple auto crashes on Wednesday on Otedola Bridge section of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Igbere TV reports.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) said via Twitter that the accidents involved about “ten vehicles including a containerised truck, a ‘pickup’ and a high capacity bus as well as several cars.”
The accidents have affected motorists heading towards Berger.Assistant Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Olusanjo Oluwatanmi, has confirmed the death of one person.
LASTMA has advised motorists to use the CMD Road from Secretariat bus stop to connect Berger bus stop until the traffic situation improves.
Emergency responders are at the scene to rescue victims.
