‘Take Heart, Local Man’, Shehu Sani Blasts Gov El-Rufai

Former Senator Shehu Sani has hit back at Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, over his comment about being unsure of Sani’s fitness to be employed by the state.

El-Rufai, on Friday, in response to a tweet requesting Mr Sani to be paid minimum wage, said: “Uncertain whether he is good enough to be employed by the Kaduna State Civil Service Commission!”

In reaction, Sani tweeted saying El-Rufai had “resorted to local drama” after he was reportedly denied visa to attend the United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States.

“When the Body Bag Governor was denied Visa for UNGA, he resorted to local drama…take heart go to Dubai those ones no dey deny,” he said.

Sani had attacked El-Rufai over the public announcement of the enrolment of son, Abubakar Al-Siddique, as a Primary One pupil of Kaduna Capital School.

Sani said the governor did so as a calculated move to prepare him for 2023 elections, adding that it was a publicity stunt.

The former senator said that if the governor wanted to be honest, he should have taken all his children to public secondary schools and universities.
