JUST IN: Ex Presidential Aide Reacts To Allegation Of Duping Leah Sharibu’s Family

A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has challenged anyone with evidence of him receiving money from Leah Sharibu’s family for her campaign to go public.

Sharibu, a Christian, was among 110 students of Government Girls Science and Technical Secondary School, Dapchi, kidnapped on February 19, 2018.

But while all the other girls were released, Sharibu was held back for refusing to denounce her Christian faith.

Mr Omokri had led calls for Sharibu’s rescue when she clocked 16 in Boko Haram captivity on May 14.

In a tweet on Friday, Omokri said he went to ‘Mount Everest because of Sharibu and ‘made the movement go global.’

He claimed to have driven the movement with his money alone.

The former presidential aide challenged anyone with proof to the contrary to expose him.

“I went to Mount Everest because of #FreeLeahSharibu and made the movement go global. My money and my money alone is driving the movement.

“I have not collected a DIME from any local or international agency. If you have proof to the contrary, EXPOSE me,” he said.
