A very disturbing report reaching IGBERE TV News room indicates that there is heavy gun fire by security personnel at various polling areas in the ongoing Osun gubernatorial rerun.
The reason for the gun shooting by the security operatives can not be ascertained as at the time of this report.
Some of the locals who spoke to IGBERE TV condenmed the action of the security forces as victimisation of the local populace.
“Personally I think the shooting is uncalled for, I see this as victimisation of the people around there.
Another angle to this is that the security agencies might be pre-emting possible breakdown of law and order there by creating awareness that they are fully on ground to who ever my be nursing such. To me a march parade is cool not the shooting”, a respondent said.
