Report just reaching IGBERE TV Newsdesk indicates that the joint team of security forces parading in Onitsha have arrested Biafra activists in the city.
Speaking to IGBERE TV correspondent, one of the leaders of the joint security operative team, who insisted in anonymity, said that about 13 members of Biafra Independent Movement (BIM), headed by Chief Ralph Uwazuriike in Biafran uniform, were arrested in a vehicle along Ifititedunu in Dunukofia local government area of the state, as they were on their way to their office.

IGBERE TV had reported that a joint team of Nigerian forces has beefed up security in Onitsha and warned members of the the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to desist from any attempt to force Onitsha residents to stay indoors Friday.
IPOB declared 14th September, sit-at-home in honour and protest against killings, arrest and detention of its members, and the obnoxious military Operation Python Dance ‘Egwu Eke’ 3 in the South-East.
As at the time time of this report, the Army did not reveal why Uwazurike and others where arrested.
