2018 UN Int. Youth Day: Benjamin Kalu to Speak on the Role of Youth in Nation Building

Barrister Benjamin Kalu, a House of Representatives aspirant and a philanthropist will speak at the 2018 edition of the United Nations International Youth Day celebration.

Kalu was awarded ‘The Mayor of Abia Youths’ in 2003 because he believes that the role of the youths in the society cannot be overemphasized. Since then, he has been empowering the youths in various ways, including giving scholarships, jobs to the youths.

The event has been organized in a way that it will recognise the key roles of the enterprising and courageous youths who work hard and strive daily to make sure that Aba remains the Centre of trade and manufacturing.

Students, young professionals and young entrepreneurs are expected to attend this life changing event as Kalu will once again share his thoughts on how he has successfully place ‘Bende’ on the world map through his business. The event is free and arrangement has been made to accommodate everybody.
