Ahead of June 23 National Convention of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna says Comrade Adams Oshiomhole is the next National chairman of the party.
El-Rufai said this on Sunday while commissioning the campaign headquartres of the immediate past governor of Edo State.
Oshiomhole had last month declared his intention to run for the National Chairman of the APC.
El-Rufai, who was joined by serving senators, some members of the NWC of the APC and many others at the commissioning of the campaign office in Abuja, describing him as a friend and brother.
He said “Oshiomhole is a brother, leader and friend and the next National Chairman of the APC by Gods grace.”
Meanwhile, Comrade Oshiomhole reiterated his confidence about his chances of winning the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship seat.
According to him, heavyweights in the party were solidly behind him.
