Nwaogu has assured Abians that the new leadership of APC is a new dawn for them, stressing that the state will record true democratic leadership and its dividends come 2019.
In a congratulatory message to Hon Donatus Nwankpa-led executives of the party in the state, the APC chieftain also took a swipe on those she described as unscrupulous elements bent on seeing to the failure of the party. The former Abia Central Federal lawmaker also called for support for the success of the new leadership of the party in the state.
The statement reads; “I congratulate Rt.Hon Donatus Nwankpa and his entire exco for their successful swearing in by the national leadership of our great party.
“What this indicates is that the party is now positioned on a vantage pedestal to claim the entire South East region come 2019 and beyond.
“Most importantly, our beloved state that has lived in several years of denial will now sing a new song now that their redemption has come. The good people of Abia are now on the verge of experiencing democratic leadership and its dividends in its full regalia come 2019.
“This will now permanently silent the unscrupulous elements who have steeped their neck to the failure of our party. We now know those who have finally adorn the toga of shame.
“Beyond the euphoria of this great feat, I call on all our stakeholders, members and supporters to rally round the new leadership of our party for the greater tasks ahead. We must up our game to its full throttle to send packing the poor leadership under which our state is groaning.
“I once again congratulate Hon Nwankpa and the entire Abia APC. I wish them a gainful reign”.
