The killers confessed to the Killing of Numerous Kwarans home and abroad. They were today transfered to Abuja for further investigation.

In their statement, they allegedly confess to be on the pay role of Kwara State Government and Mandate Office of Senator Bukola Saraki. It’s pertinent to note that the Leader of the killer squad who also doubled as the Son of the Notorious Magaji Nda, Alhaji Salihu Woru, a self appointed spokes person of the Ilorin Emirate Magajis who is currently on suspension was placed on level 16 pay, while others are between level 10 and 16.
The suspects also confessed to the monthly stipend being paid to them by the Office of the Senate President, including the Toyota Corolla shared to them by Bukola Saraki few months ago.

The Killers Also confessed that the Toyota Corolla gift to them by Bukola Saraki is to motivate them in preparation for the 2019 Elections.
On the list to eliminate before the election is the two Mustapha’s, Kayode Oyin, Yinka Aluko, Baba Rex, and One Mr Ogunlowo.

The source in the Police confirmed that the statement of account retrieved from the killers confirmed the monthly alert from Saraki and Kwara State Government. Most of them have millions of Naira as their Balance.

Following their confession, Bukola Saraki and Governor Fatahi Ahmed allegedly tried to put pressure on the Commissioner of Police using Director of Prosecution Mr Mumini who is known to be a notorious corrupt Officer in the Ministry of Justice. Money Inducement to sweep the case under the carpet was also allegedly extended to the CP, the offer which the Police reportedly rejected, that prompted the urgent transfer of the Killers to Abuja this morning. Police may invite Bukola Saraki and Governor Fatahi Ahmed soonest.

Meanwhile, SENATE President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, yesterday, raised the alarm of a grand plan by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP, Ibrahim Idris, to implicate him, using some cultists who have been arrested in Kwara State and warned against what he described as rascality, intimidation and harassment.

This came as Kwara State Government in a reaction yesterday, expressed concern about the manner four of the suspected 17 cult members were transferred from the state police command to Abuja.

Similarly, scores   of youths under the aegis of Kwara Agenda, yesterday, staged a peaceful protest around the state capital against the alleged plot. However, the Police in a swift reaction, dismissed Saraki’s allegation, saying nobody, no matter how highly placed, would be allowed to interfere or obstruct Police investigation to pervert the course of justice. Speaking on the floor of the Senate, Saraki told his colleagues that the Governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatai Ahmed, informed him about how the IGP has concluded plans to link him to a group of cult suspects who were about to be prosecuted in Kwara State but had been ordered by the IGP to be transferred to Abuja. According to him, the IGP plans to put the suspects under duress to change the statements they already made in Ilorin, with a view to implicating him and Kwara State Government. Saraki said the move was part of a strategy by the IGP to settle scores with the Senate for declaring him an enemy of democracy and unfit to hold any public office within and outside the country.

Speaking further at plenary, Saraki noted that he felt obliged to share the information with his colleagues because of the gravity of the matter and the grave danger it portended for Nigeria’s democracy. He said:  “My Distinguished colleagues, there is an issue which I need to bring to your attention very urgently.

“Last night, my state governor, Dr. Abdulfatai Ahmed, revealed to me an information at his disposal, that a group of suspects who had been in police cells for several weeks for cultism and whose investigation had been concluded with prosecution about to commence under the state law based on the advice of the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, and the Ministry of Justice, were ordered to be transferred to Abuja this morning (yesterday).

“According to the information available to the governor, the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Idris Ibrahim, directed the Commissioner of Police in Kwara State to immediately transfer the men to the Force Headquarters.

“The plan, as the governor was made to understand, is that under duress, the suspects would be made to alter the statements they already made in Ilorin. They will then be made to implicate the Kwara State government, and in particular, myself, in their new statement. “This plot is part of the strategy by the IGP to settle scores over the declaration by this honourable Chamber that he is not qualified and competent to hold any public office within and outside the country and that he is an enemy of Nigeria’s democracy based on his usual disrespectful conduct towards lawful authorities. “In my view, this plot is an act of desperation, blackmail, intimidation, abuse of office and crude tactics aimed at turning our country into a police state where top officials cannot be made to obey the law, follow due process and subject themselves to constituted authorities. “I want to bring this dangerous development to the attention of all of you my colleagues, the entire country and the international community so that you can be aware of the level of impunity in our country and the danger it constitutes to our democracy.”
