As the world marks workers day today, Amb. Chief Charles Nzechi, a House of representatives aspirant under the platform of APGA for Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency has commended the spirit of Nigerian workers, describing them as the bastion of survival for government and nations.

In a press release made available to IGBERE TV, he said “I felicitate with workers all over Nigeria as the world marks International Labour Day today. It is a sad reality that despite the enormous contributions the average Nigerian worker makes on daily basis as a way of contributing his quota in our quest for nationhood, he remains the least paid all over the world. The workers are the bastion of survival for any government and nation. Therefore, their welfare at all times must be treated with the utmost seriousness it deserves”.

He also promised to sponsor bills in line with what obtains in other parts of the world to alleviate the plight of Nigerian workers. “When my good people of Ikwuano/Umuahia elect me into the House of Representatives come 2019, I will sponsor a number of pro-workers bills in an effort to ensure that the global best practices in taking adequate care of workers are replicated here.

“I therefore urge my people to make this dream and many others a reality by massively voting for me as your next representative at the green chamber of our national assembly. My party APGA is committed to ensuring that the plights of our people are lifted and good government enthroned” he assured.

He pledged to continue putting smiles on the faces of his people through his Charles Nzechi Foundation and various people oriented programs, urging them to keep hope alive.

He also prayed for a successful month for all Nigerians.
