Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, who is also the leader of the party in the state said that Abia State is now in a state of jamboree because the state is now in the wrong hand.
The former governor stated this during APC Caucus meeting held today in Abia state capital Umuahia. He also used the opportunity to call for peace in the party.
According to him, ” APC is not Orji Uzor Kalu’s party, or Emenike’s party, it’s a party for everybody”.
” We can’t allow anybody to derail this party because we can’t take over Abia State when we quarrel with one another. We want peace in the party ”
” APC is a party that loves Ndigbo because this is the first time that 2nd Niger Bridge is being truly built in the history of this country. Other parties came and defrauded the Igbos by telling them that they will build the 2nd Niger Bridge for them without doing anything for them but today under Buhari, 2nd Niger Bridge is over 50% completed.
On Igbo Presidency, the former governor stated that the shortest way for an Igbo man to become the president of Nigeria is by voting for Buhari in 2019.

“The shortest way to Igbo Presidency in 2023 is by voting Buhari in 2019, I said the same under PDP and many of didn’t listen to me and we all saw what happened. Today, am saying it again. I want to also assure you all here that if you have not been appointed in various key positions, you should be patient because most of you joined the party recently and soon another list will be sent to Buhari for another appointments “.
Igbere TV learnt that over 20 million naira was raised during the meeting ahead of the forthcoming state party Congress, in order for the party to unseat Okezie Ikpeazu.
Meanwhile, recall that Igbere TV had reported that men suspected to be thugs on Friday invaded the secretariats of the Abia state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, while the Caucus meeting was ongoing, carting away cash and properties belonging to the party.
Two suspects were arrested by the police in connection with the invasion.
