Babatunde Osotimehin, Nigeria’s minister of health from December 2008 to March 2010, is dead.

Mr. Osotimehin was Nigeria’s health minister between December 2008 and March 2010.

He was also a former head of Nigeria’s aids agency, NACA.

Osotimehin was born February 6, 1949. The the 68-year-old was also a former Provost of the College of Medicine at the University of Ibadan.

Up until his death, he was the executive director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
