Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on Monday, September 16, attended the Special Church Service marking the 2019 Legal Year held in the state capital, Abeokuta, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV gathers that the legal year, in English law as well as in other common law jurisdictions, is the calendar during which the judges sit in court. It is traditionally divided into periods called “terms.”
Mr Dapo, while speaking at the event reaffirmed the position of his administration to uphold the rule of law.
The also promised to complete the new Judiciary Complex under construction along Kobape Road.
He further stated that; “I’d like to reassure the Judiciary of our cooperation, as we have invested in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), which may be used by them to ease their cumbersome tasks.
