The Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has sealed the Abuja residence of the second Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Shehu Dikko.
Igbere TV reports that the closure of the property on Friday follows an order of forfeiture by a federal high court.
Dikko’s residence in Abuja is located at No. 1 River Benue, Maitama residence.
The move comes as the latest in the commission’s investigation into the activities of the football body.
ICPC spokesperson, Rasheedat Okoduwa, told newsmen that Dikko’s property was sealed following fresh corruption charges against him and some NFF executives.
“It is true that ICPC sealed Shehu Dikko’s Maitama residence this morning,” she said.
“He is being investigated with others over fresh corruption charges. It has nothing to do with the cases of SPIP or EFCC.”
