Tinubu, Akande, APC Govs In Abuja For Presidential Election Tribunal Verdict

Report reaching Igbere TV says that the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, is in Abuja ahead of the presidential election tribunal verdict to be delivered today.

Also in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is former national chairman of the party, Bisi Akande.

According to our correspondent in Abuja, both men arrived on Monday night and had dinner with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House.

“Some APC governors also arrived Abuja yesterday (Tuesday).

“Their convoys were seen at the governors’ lodges in Asokoro area of Abuja,” the source told our correspondent.

He added, “chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, is arriving Abuja this morning for the ‘victory parley’ with President Buhari.”

The tribunal is expected to resume at 9am as they decide the fate of PDP and its candidate Atiku Abubakar and President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC over the February 23 presidential election.

Igbere TV recalls that INEC had declared Buhari and the APC as winner of the election, having polled a total of 15,191,847 votes to defeat his closest rival, Atiku, who it said polled a total of 11,262,978 votes.

The five-man panel of justices of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, is headed by Justice Mohammed Garba, as Chairman.

The PDP and its presidential candidate also accused INEC of storing the real results of the 2019 election in a central server.
