Kwara State Government has restated the authentic social media accounts of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The government said in a tweet on Wednesday that the handle @RealAARahman is operated by the governor across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, Igbere TV reports.
“This is to inform the general public that @RealAARahman is the only authentic social media identity or handle owned by and linked to the Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq. This identity is used on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter,” the tweet said.
The move follows increasing rate of fake social media accounts created in the name of public officials.
