Several gunmen have attacked Ikirike Police Station in Enugu State.
The gunmen were said to have stormed the police station on Sunday pretending to have come to report an incident only to immediately launch attack on the station, Igbere TV reports.
Enugu police spokesman, Ebere Amaraizu, has confirmed the attack, saying no police officer was killed.
It is not known if the gunmen made away with arms and ammunition at the station.
Mr Amaraizu said the command has launched manhunt on the hoodlums.
