The new Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Festus Keyamo, has said that his law firm would continue to run despite his ministerial appointment.
Mr Keyamo said this in a tweet on Thursday with a picture of himself in his new office, Igbere TV reports.
He was among ministers who were inaugurated on Wednesday following the end of the Presidential Retreat for ministers-designate, presidential aides and other top government functionaries at the State House in Abuja.
Keyamo, a first-time minister, said he arrived his office early to motivate the workforce.
“Arrived my new office punctually this morning, which is key to motivate the workforce. It is a new challenge which I always wanted to experience. Whilst my law offices continue to run at full throttle with capable hands, I take this short leave of absence to serve my fatherland,” he said.
Keyamo was the Director, Strategic Communications of Buhari 2019 Presidential Campaign.
He bagged a Bachelor of Law degree in 1992 at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State and was called to bar in December 1993.
