Governor Okezie Ikpeazu Through His Allies Uche Ihediwa and Ume Kalu Push to Bribe Justice Ademola Handling His Tax Cheat Case

Intelligent information leaked to us has it that Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu sent the Attorney General of Abia State Chief Umeh Kalu and his Commissioner of Lands Barrister Uche Ihediwa  to Abuja to look for any possible means of compromising Judge Ademola who is handling his tax case in order to influence the judgement.

Our source authoritatively said that they are seriously looking for way in to the Judge or any contact who can talk to the judge to agree to their request of taking bribe from them.  In order not to undermine the judgement, Judge Ademola refuses to see them and seems to have reported the disturbance to DSS and Police.

An insider from DSS who do not want his name to be mentioned also confirmed this report alleging that the bullying of the Judge has been reported to DSS and that Chief Ume Kalu and Uche Ihediuwa have been cautioned to be of good conduct or face arrest. It was assured that the Police and DSS are following up the report and any architect of influencing the judgement will be arrested.

Having feelings that the Judge might be difficult to bribe, our source indicates that the duo who have been in Abuja for one week have resorted to write petition against the Judge for him to be replaced with an easy going  Judge who will play along with them.

Dr. Ikpeazu instructed them to write petition against the Judge knowing the weightiness of the evidence against him in the tax cheat case which might remove him from office and replace him with Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah.

The bone of contention is that Ikpeazu during PDP governorship primary submitted to INEC questionable tax payment receipt which the dates of payments appeared over the weekend when government offices were already closed. It has not been confirmed if their request to replace the Judge will be granted but the motive behind their petition is to enable them get a Judge that can be bribed.

We call on the petitioner Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah and his lawyers to be watchful of the nocturnal moves by Dr. Ikpeazu agents to influence the judgement by bribing the judge or asking to replace him.
