A painful tragedy has struck families travelling along the Benin–Lagos Expressway after a G.U.O. luxury bus, reportedly loaded in Abakaliki and travelling to Lagos, was involved in a fatal accident close to Lagos State.
According to reports, several lives were lost, while other passengers sustained varying degrees of injuries. The immediate cause of the accident has not been established as of the time of this report.
Among those reportedly identified as victims is an Izzi indigene popularly known as “Good News,” a vibrant businessman whose untimely death has left family, friends and the community devastated.
According to a source, Good News was making preparations for his traditional wedding scheduled for January 11 and 13, 2027, before this heartbreaking tragedy cut his journey short.
