Police in Benue have said that the Provost of College of Education, Katsina Ala, Tsavwua Gborigyo, has been kidnapped.
Benue police spokesperson, Catherine Anene, told newsmen on Monday that the provost was abducted during the weekend.
Anene said Mr Gborigyo was kidnapped at Ihugh in Vandiekya on his way from a burial.
The spokesperson said no contact had been established with the kidnappers.
She appealed to the public to assist with any information that would lead to the provost’s rescue.
