The Police in Ogun State on Saturday rescued the remaining four kidnapped pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV gathered that the clergymen were rescued unhurt at J3 Area in Ogbere axis of Ogun State, Saturday afternoon.
It will be recalled that the only female among them, Deaconess Chidinma Ibelegbo, was rescued in the early hours of today with an assurance that the remaining four would be rescued unhurt.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the development to newsmen in Abeokuta.
Igbere TV had previously reported how five pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) got kidnapped by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
They were kidnapped on Friday on their way to the church’s Ministers’ Conference holding at the RCCG’s Redemption Camp, Lagos.
